BRENT VANDERMEIDE

Project Director, United States Air Force

Brent Vandermeide has been employed as a civilian with the U.S. Air Force for 18 years. He began his career with the 309th Software Engineering Group as an aircraft painter. He received his bachelor’s degree in computer science, master’s degree in science management, and graduated from the Utah Leadership program. Brent has been the project director for PRC2 for the last five years and was awarded the 2018 Science and Engineer of the Year award for his work on Agile and DevSecOps. It was during this time that he led the team using “Art of the Possible” to transform PRC2 to a DevSecOps program. Brent is a lifelong resident of Utah and he and his wife Rachel have six children.
