Isaac Holyoak’s fascination with narratives has been cultivated for over a decade as he’s practiced, taught, and published on communication in the public sphere. He currently leads culture and communication efforts for the University of Utah Medical Group, where he also writes as the Effective Communicator—a self-help column for Accelerate, an online health care improvement community. Isaac earned a master’s degree in rhetoric from the Brian Lamb School of Communication at Purdue University and has taught speech, argumentation, and debate at some of America’s flagship universities. He is an avid gardener and amateur plantsman.
