Director, Catering Operations and Supply Chain, Delta Air Lines
Extreme Performance, Extreme Collaboration. Improving performance from 99.2% to 99.9% is not only difficult, for most industries it leads to nothing noticeable from the view of customers or bottom line. But for airlines, it’s a difference that impacts thousands and thousands of customers and both the top and bottom line. In this presentation, Andrew will describe how Delta Air Lines aligned one area’s entire supply chain to achieve it. He will focus on the seemingly impossible task of bringing its suppliers to the high performance necessary using TOC tools, the right metrics and contracts that drive the “win” for the suppliers, the airline and the airline’s customers.
